The entrance to the conference and exhibition can be found at the entrance to the Mayflower Suite situated to left of the main entrance. Look out for the BSSM flags at the entrance to the Mayflower Suite situated to left of the main entrance.
To access wifi during the conference, select wifi and select hotel wifi and then follow the log on instructions.
Information for presenters
If you are presenting, please allocate 15 minutes for your presentation to allow 5 minutes for questions. The session chairmen have been asked to keep to a tight schedule so delegates can move around the parallel sessions, please ensure you keep to time. Laptops are available in each of the sessions for you to upload your presentation. Please upload well ahead of your session and check that the presentation works. If you wish to use your own laptop then please check this works with the AV. Microphones are available in each room and we ask that you use these. There will be a member of the conference support team in each room during the sessions and the breaks to help you - they are easily identified as they will be wearing a yellow sash. Please also make sure you make yourself known to the session chairman as well prior to your session.

Travelling to the venue
The Grand Harbour Hotel is located in the city centre and well connected both the railway station (Southampton Central) and Southampton Airport. It is possible to walk from Southampton Central Railway Station (exit the station on platform 4 side). There is free bus from the station to 'Town Quay' which stops very close the Grand Harbour Hotel. A taxi should cost no more than £5 to £6; there is a rank outside the station.If you are arriving at Southampton Airport the U1 bus will take you to Town Quay; taxis need to be booked at the desk in arrivals and will cost around £20.
If you arriving to Gatwick Airport there is a direct train to Southampton Central and we recommend advanced booking of your ticket through www.thetrainline.com If you are arriving to Heathrow Airport recommend use the rail-air link which means a coach to Woking and a train onwards to Southampton Central, which can also be booked directly through www.thetrainline.com
It is possible to book a limousine service from the London Airports to Southampton - we highly recommend http://englishrosecollection.co.uk/ this costs around £90-£100 from the airports and slightly less to return and is very good value if you are travelling in a group -you can book online in advance - you will be collected from your flight and driven to your hotel safely in a car that is clean and comfortable and equipped with wifi. They also have larger vehicles that can take up to eight passengers.
If you are travelling from outside the UK please make sure you have some UK currency - not all taxis take credit card and many places (e.g. bars, pubs and cafes) prefer cash. It is best to find an ATM at your arrival airport and withdraw some cash this way.
Parking instructions for delegates
If you require parking at the conference venue (and are not a guest of the hotel) a fee is charged for this by the hotel. Car parking for delegates that are staying at the hotel is complimentary. If you are driving to Southampton we recommend you park at your hotel and walk or use public transport to get to the venue. Please be advised that Car Parking is available at the hotel on a first come, first basis. The hotel does not accept responsibility in the event that the car park is full on the day of your event. Car parking is chargeable at £10 per 24 hours.
The conference venue is located in Southampton City Centre and is a 5 minute walk from all amenities.
