EMex is the premier UK exhibition for manufacturers and suppliers of strain measurement and stress analysis equipment. EMex 2010 will take place on Wednesday 8th September 2010 as part of the 7th BSSM International Conference on Advances in Experimental Mechanics.
The 2010 BSSM International Conference on Advances in Experimental Mechanics runs from 7th-9th September 2010 and is the seventh in a successful series of conferences. Exhibition opening times and registration
The exhibition is open from 10:00 to 16:00 on 8th September 2010 and will be advertised widely. Visitors, including over 80 conference delegates, will attend throughout the day. Refreshments for the conference will be served in the exhibition area.
Exhibitors will be invited to present a five minute pitch to conference delegates in a special session dedicated to new products. The session will take place before lunch.

Exhibition publicity
The BSSM is embarking on an extensive marketing campaign to ensure that the exhibition is busy with visitors other than the conference delegates. In addition the exhibition will be publicised in the University, in the Innovation Centre and in Liverpool John Moores University, and so other academics may attend.
Please provide details of your company's activities on the exhibitor booking form so that these can be included in the advance publicity material for the exhibition.

What is provided
Exhibitors will be provided with an exhibition area, one bench (1m x 2mx 980mm high), two chairs and access to power points. Only 20 amp electricity is available per bench. The exhibition will be held in the Active Learning Laboratory. Exhibitor displays should not exceed the following dimensions: 2.4m high, 3m wide and 1m deep. Table covers will not be provided.
Exhibitors must ensure that any equipment being brought onto the premises has a PAT certificate. Posters should not be fixed to the walls in the exhibition room.
Registration
Registration for exhibitors will take place in the exhibition area during set up times.
Set up and close down times
Exhibitors can set up their stands between 08.00 and 10.00 on the morning of Wednesday 8th September. Stand break down from 16.00 - 17.30 on Wednesday 8th September. Please note there is no facility to set up the day before the exhibition.

Security
Exhibitors are requested to ensure they have adequate insurance cover. Belongings are brought onto the premises at the owner’s own risk. Please note the area in which the exhibition will take place is unsuitable for locking at any time during the day.
Parking
Three visitor car parks with limited spaces are now available on campus off Mount Pleasant and Brownlow Street. Visitors can also use the nearest city council car park, which can be found at the bottom of Mount Pleasant, towards the City Centre. Please refer to registration form for map location.
