Exhibitor Information

EMex22 is the premier interactive UK exhibition for manufacturers and suppliers of state of the art strain measurement and stress analysis equipment.

The BSSM's Exhibition of Experimental Mechanics (EMex22) which will take place on 7 September 2022 as part of the BSSM's 16th International Conference on Advances in Experimental Mechanics taking place at St Anne's College, University of Oxford, UK.

The exhibition will be taking place in the foyer of the Ruth Deech Building, at St Anne’s College on Wednesday 7 September 2022 and is open from 10.40 to 15.50. Delegates are free to visit the exhibition at any time the exhibition is open. Refreshments and lunch will be served to conference delegates in the exhibition hall on the day of the exhibition.

Setting up

Exhibitors can arrive to set up from 8am on the day of the exhibition (7 September). The exhibition is on the ground floor and exhibitors can park outside the venue main drive for un-loading and loading but must then park in a designated car park. 

Deliveries

If you wish to send equipment to the venue please contact info@bssm.org beforehand providing dimensions and sizes of boxes to ensure that we have space for storage.

Exhibitors can arrange their own couriers to pick up any equipment after the exhibition and items need to be collected the following day after the exhibition at the very latest.

What is Provided

Exhibitors will be provided with one table approx 2ft by 5ft with space behind for pop up banners,
two chairs and access to power points, wi-fi, refreshments and lunch.
Delegate contacts will also be available post event subject to GDPR.
Two exhibitors can attend per stand.

Please bring your own table covers, power cables, fixings and ensure equipment is PAT tested.

Exhibitors will also have the opportunity to present a one minute pitch style presentation in a plenary session to delegates during the conference.
Please send 1 slide to info@bssm.org by 30 August 2022 to ensure your slide is included.

Exhibitors who are BSSM Corporate members are also entitled to a 1 page A4 insert in delegate bags. Please supply 140 inserts by 31st August 2022. Please post inserts to PO Box 839, Flitwick, Bedfordshire MK45 9DU contact number for delivery 07905 801326

Throughout the conference there is an Event Support Team on duty to help you. Please look for the distinctive blue tee shirts.

Venue parking Instructions
There is no exhibitor parking at the venue, and parking is very limited in Oxford, so please try to arrive by train or bus, or use the Park and Ride. Exhibitors can park outside the venue to unload equipment but will then need to park nearby. Oxford car parks

St Anne’s has a free Wi-Fi service – ‘The Cloud’.
