Founded in 1968 Photron Limited, employs over 280 staff worldwide with its headquarters and R&D facility located in Tokyo, manufacturing facility in Yonezawa and supporting Technical Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. International Offices are located in the USA, China, UK and Germany providing regional Sales, Service and Technical Support to our representatives and customers working in aerospace, automotive, university research, defence and manufacturing markets. Our proprietary sensor designs deliver unrivalled performance in terms of frame rate, resolution, light sensitivity and dynamic range - all parameters that are critical for capture of highly dynamic processes observed during testing of materials and components utilising a range of different methods not limited to drop testing, compression testing, tensile testing and SHPB. With frame rates at full resolution in excess of 20,000fps and over 2Mfps at reduced resolution, sub microsecond exposures and perfect synchronisation of multiple cameras, these systems are also suitable for Digital Image Correlation (DIC) and are routinely integrated by all of the commercial solution providers in this field of testing.
